Will Carl Icahn start a proxy fight for Yahoo!?

Is Microsoft even still interested in big Purple? Would Icahn and MSFT even work well together?

It is curious that Icahn is getting into Yahoo and Ford at the same time. Talk about different cultures!! I cant see Icahn working with MSFT. However just the news he is buyingshares is enough to push the stock and attract some allies. who knows what he has up his sleeve!!!.

  1. bahellman: Good point. Icahn is certainly overextended.

We now know that Yes he is starting a proxy fight with board members including Mark Cuban. What is interesting about this is that MSFT is now suggesting to YHOO! that a deal be worked out to far remove Icahn.

Microsoft Yahoo! Alternate Deal - No Icahn
