Easy higher prices and more mergers. There is just no way around it. The airline will make the agruement that it will do the oposite but if competition means anything then less cant be good

Less choices, higher prices, and a return to airline travel for the wealthy. If Continental and United Airlines merger, consumers will be even worse off. Competition is good for consumers and competition in the airline industry is quickly disappearing. Goodbye Skybus, TWA and others.
