I graduated from the UCLA Anderson program years ago. When I was first applying the program was ranked in the top 5. I'm not certain where it is ranked now. There are also 10s of different ranking systems.

What's important when choosing a MBA program is the career matching services after you graduate or while your in the program. The best time to take advantage of an MBA is during and right after you graduate. That is the opportunity to propel your career years ahead of those without MBA.

I've heard MBAs are not as necessary as they used to be - in other words, you can get just as far (if not farther) with experience and a good reputation. Has anyone else heard this?
