Solar power from photovolataic cells appears to be ready to burst on the scene. How does one profit in business with photovoltaic solar power.?

Comments

  1. bahellman: I googled for "photovolataic cells" and didn't find anything. Do you mean "photovoltaic cells" ? You have me curious, as I haven't heard of this solar technology.
  2. lawyermoore: Photovoltaic solar power cells; I regret the typo but would appreciate insight.

Invest in the companies who produce photovoltaic cells: BP Solar, Yingli Green Energy, Kyocera, Q-Cells, Sanyo, Sharp Solar, SolarWorld, SunPower, and Suntech.

Also, reading the trade journals to keep in the loop on all upcoming related companies:

You will likely find the podcast link below interesting. I listened to the podcast this morning on the way to the office. There is an article on Green companies that mentions photovoltaic cells and how the companies in Silicon valley can't hire fast enough to keep up with the demand. Summary below.

"Green companies are sprouting. There are some 200 new businesses for solar-panel installation, home weatherization, and electronic recycling. The sector is growing so fast, there's a critical shortage of entry-level workers. And that's opening doors for unemployed young people."
