rotero: Would you suggest issueing a press release even if the site is in a closed beta, just to generate some sort of buzz?
truancy: without question. Do anything you legally can to generate buzz. Especially if you can release a free pr and if there is any chance of a provider picking up the story. Sites like techcrunch talk about prviate betas all the time. buzz buzz buzz

Old online marketing tactics no longer work. The stereotypical meta keywords google adwords no longer cut it. You need to build an innovative product that generates buzz. Buzz is the only way to survive and benefit from online marketing.

be credible, I just found this site due to a web alert email from yahoo. When you are looking at new sites it impossible to know a site's credibility. If there was some way to showcase your online businesses credibility, that would be helpful.

From a recent post of mine I've been looking for an online automated trading system. I've been shocked at how challenging it is to determine a site's credibility. I have no idea how an online business owner would provide the feeling of credibility. I suppose it is in the brand-name, Microsoft and so on.
