My husband and I would love to build our credit fast? What can we do and what credit score do we need to buy a home within the year?

  1. EthanBroadway: What kind of home cost are we talking about? 1/2 million? 1 million? How much do you have available to put down at purchase?

Well from my previous experience I have found that the fastest way to build your credit through credit cards is to establish history. Which means you have to acquire some type of manageable debit to increase your score at a faster rate. Transferring to a card to another card with a lower interest rate in a creditors eyes looks like a card payed off. But the real key can easily be summed up into one word DISCIPLINE...... if you can't map out payments for it don't get it, which I constantly have to remind myself go figure.
