Is it possible to SUE Southwest Airlines for knowingly flying passengers on "unsafe" flights.

As a frequent traveler on Southwest and working for a company where we are required to fly southwest, I don't feel a $3 million dollar fine sends southwest the message they need or the rest of the airline. If southwest, which is one of the few profitable airlines pulls trickery like this just imagine what the non-profitable airlines are doing and how unsafe the airs are now.
