I subscribe to Experian and recently received my credit report. There were numerous errors from the spelling of my name to credit card accounts that weren't mine. I called their customer service and was able to have the incorrect demographic information removed or corrected. The credit card information had to be handled with each individual company. Experian also notifies me when there is any change to my credit report so that I can be certain that I remain up to date without having to check it unnecessarily.
