  1. DanielleR: Just wondering - are you planning on a career change or doing some part-time work in the finance field or would this be for your personal benefit?
  2. josh1: I'm planning for a career change.
  3. josh1: LVose, thank you so much for the information! I have another question. I heard that that employment is better if I choose to go to a school campus rather than an online degree, is this true? they said that if you get an online degree in finance, you could only apply for accounting job. if you think otherwise, pls recommend some online schools. thanks again!

Congratulations - I'm sure coming to that decision wasn't easy. In most fields these days, the minimum level of education needed is a bachelor's degree. In some cases, a graduate degree (Masters, MBA, PhD, etc.) is required to make you a competitive candidate. It is probably in your best interest to get at least an undergraduate degree in finance.

Here's a website that talks about finance degrees - where to get them, why you need them, what you can do with them, etc.: http://www.worldwidelearn.com/online-education-guide/business/finance-major.htm. You may be able to enroll in a distance-learning or part-time program, if you want to continue working. Hope this helps!
