I am looking for overseas apparel manufactures for a line of clothing. What is the best way to go about finding these resources?

You should consider making contacts in places such as Vietnam. I know that a lot of apparel are being produced there and more and more companies are utilizing Vietnam as the source for producing apparel.

What's great about Vietnam is that many workers are highly educated and labor is still VERY cheap. Once you make a couple of contacts, you will be directed to the right people. Depending on your budget, those people will arrange all the meetings with the manufacturer and will personally take you to each meeting. The fees are usually paid by the manufacturer to these middlemen.
