Typically you could find someone at your level inside your company - maybe who is in charge of all the non - sales people. Chances are the manager of the sales department will make more than a manager of non-sales. Also, you could reach out to some competitors and see what they are paying. Salary.com does okay, but you'll get a better picture if you can find your position on Monster &/or Career Builder as they sometimes (rarely) listed the salary range there.

To answer your question there are a lot of additional facts required, such as,
How expendable are you?
How much experience do you have?
What is your education level?
How much money do you save the company by being seasoned in your position?
How big is your company - both in Sales and in number of people?
Is your company profitable?
Do you supervise anyone? - and do they do the same thing you do?

make sure you keep these constraints in mind while looking at other positions - The idea here is that the more you add value to the bottom line - the more you are worth to the company. And, if you are a rare person to hire, you can demand more too.

However, if you are someone who maintains the status quo and is expendable you will be worth less to the company.

Finally, if your company is not profitable, none of the above is going to matter.

Good luck !!!
