Hellman & Friedman sold 23.5 million Nasdaq shares worth roughly $1 billion. Why? Is the Nasdaq going to drop further?

NDAQ shares are already down more than 6 percent.

Why did they sell their 113.5 million shares?

And, as a concerned NDAQ owner, what does this mean for the Nasdaq. Are we in for an even bigger drop next week?
