Do you consider LinkedIn recommendations reputable?

They are useful with careful review. Review both the recommendation and the credibility of the reviewer. If a person has a recommendation from a reviewer that hasn't reviewed many people and has a high quality professional background, I would find that recommendation very reputable.

If you notice a "this-for-that" system in place, people giving each other recommendations in exchange, I would not.
